Outlaws of Dirt 2

Outlaws of Dirt was a great success! The contest took place in Frisco, Colorado at the Frisco Bike Park. Blkmrkt is a proud sponsor of the event. I had the pleasure of competing in the DJ contest and had a blast!

Hot Wheels at Trestle

I had an amazing opportunity to test and ride a new trail at Trestle Bike Park in Winter Park, Colorado.  Vital MTB came along and filmed a pretty cool exclusive. This trail was real fun and included some real technical features. Thank you Trestle Bike Park and Thank you Vital MTB for the fun times!

SRAM XX1 Test featuring the Roam

                              GEAR REVIEW

Blistergearreview.com's Marshal Olson recently used his Black Market Roam to test and review what I and others in the Enduro/Freeride/All-Mountain world have been praying for since the day we cut the cable on our front derailleurs for good!

The SRAM XX1 1 X 11 speed drivetrain!!! Thank you SRAM!!!

The review is rather long and completely dedicated to the SRAM XX1 build kit, so I have hijacked their photos with a link to the entire review so the post doesn't push everything else off the page. The only real comments regarding the Roam will be in the "comments" section at the end of the review. Marshal is planning a full review on his time on the Roam soon. Stay tuned!!!

Marshal Olsen rails aboard his XX1 equipped Black Market Roam set-up with Enve 26"carbon wheels.

The New SRAM XX1 drivetrain, I'm guessing the "Best thing since sliced bread".

Black Market Roam with XX1 Build Kit

I'm not quite sure why Marshal has a chain guide other than piece of mind... I thought one of the benefits was no guide needed.

A.W.D. System 26 dropouts allow you to run the SRAM XX1 System with any current MTB production wheel size, 26", 27.5" (650B) or 29".

With the SRAM XX1 and Roam, there's nowhere you can't shred!

Camp Of Champions

For the past few years I have working in whistler for the Camp of Champions. It is always a blast and the kids shred! Check out some of the shredders this year in a camp video Justin Hartney (Camper) and Chris Ricci made with one day of shooting in the park.

Jersey Strangler Update...

I just received an update from Adam Hauck, who is in the North East right now... Here'e what's up with The Jersey Strangler...

Heres a little update from this past weekend. I was doing a Air Bag Demo for RedBull / Highland Mountain at the Quick Check Air Balloon Festival. Throughout 3 days, there were over 160,000 people in attendance. The event was super fun as I got the chance to talk bikes with seasoned riders and new riders looking to get more involved. As well as shredding the Redbull Air Bag for huge crowds.

Awesome time!!! Here are some photos... I'm off to Vermont for the Bike & Brew Festival at Burke Mountain.

Clayton Shank Shredding With Friends at Woodward West

Clayton Shank had the great opportunity to spend some time coaching out at Woodward West this summer. Steezy Productions made an edit of the trails during one of the evening dirt jump sessions.
