Cob...

Justin Brantley has been sending me and posting amazing photos of Jacob (forgot your last name) A.K.A. Cob for a couple of years now and I had a chance to ride with him about a year ago. Cob has mad style and is always throwing dirt and throwing down and with my chrome Mob from last year just chillin' in my office... I decided that under Cob was probably a better place for that frame. I was right...

enjoy...

Inter Bike 09

Today was the 2nd day of dirt demo out at Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, Nevada and when Adam, Nick and I arrived it was already 96 and climbing. We rode the 3 Killswitches to X-Fusion's booth to let the people test ride them for the first time and get their reactions first hand. I'm happy to say that so far we've had very positive responses from everyone who has had a chance to ride one. Come see the Killswitch at the X-Fusion or SDG booth. There will be an poster signing on Thursday at 1PM at X-Fusion.

EuroBike...

Don't ask me why this is the only photo I shot of the booth but it is...

This is the typical end of the day gathering you see in basically every tent or booth both inside and out of the main buildings... being outside kicks ass because everyone is grilling sausages, drinking beer and smoking... there's is a lot of cigarette smoking going on in Germany... A lot.
My 2nd night was pure Hell due to food poisoning, cold sweats, Pablo snoring and this church bell ringing outside our window every 15 minutes reminding me I was still awake feeling like ass!!!

I got home from EuroBike late Sunday night and have been playing catch up ever since. I'm finally getting around to this thing. So, this was a my first trip to EuroBike and I'd like to thank Sven Mack and the crew from Sports-Nut for their hard work and great attitudes.

The Killswitch was a hit and I finally had an opportunity to ride it for more than five minutes. I think I got ten minutes in this time... Ten minutes in the rain and with flats and wet jeans but I was one of only 2 guys to hit the entire first straight in 3 jumps.

The set up for EuroBike is amazing... it's nothing like InterBike. First off there are people riding bikes everywhere inside the venue... in the isles, inside, outside... everywhere. They also have numerous contests for the riders to compete in and the vendors to watch and see their products in use against other products on a high level in front of thousands from all over Europe!

They have a badass 4 cross course made from DG so it can handle rain all day and still be semi fast and grippy even with Micro Knobbies on. The course was fully sculptured with grass, boulders, water features, turns with inside/outside lines... 2 of the turns even had steel curved wallrides... it was sick!!! Then right in the of the course they had a 25' roll-in to 2 big jumps with 7.5' tall lips and 10' landings for the dirt jump contest. I did not compete but I rode the Killswitch in practice getting thru the 50 rider line-up 3 times. The bike felt stiff and predictable enough that I clicked a sweet turndown with a broken hand on the 3rd and final run. The bike snapped into place perfectly as if it was on my Mob putting a huge smile on my face. There were tons of good riders from at least 10 different countries throwing big tricks down with zero practice... it was pretty intense. I was unable to watch the finals but I know Martin Soderstrom won again with clean double whips and barspins O' Plenty... dialed.

I didn't take my camera either but borrowed a camera to grab a few just for the story... sorry, I'll take more next year...
